Ownership and Regulation
Look at the newspapers in the UK and research who owns what titles. Answer the following questions on your own blog.
Depending on who owns a newspaper they will put their opinion and view in and only let their audience read what the owner believes so they can easily brainwash people, yet people only buy what newspaper agrees with them, for example a man who is very right wing will only buy a newspaper that shares his right wing views, so he might buy the Daily Mail.

The owner of Leicester Mercury is Trinity Mirror the largest newspaper company, they also own other newspapers like: Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror, Sunday people and others, they also own regional newspapers like: Birmingham Mail, Liverpool Echo, Manchester Evening News and a couple other.
A company called Johnston Press own a lot of newspapers including: i, The Scotsman, Diss Express, Times & Citizen, Stornoway Gazette, and Wigan Evening Post.
