My Advert
My advert will appear in magazines and in bill boards or on buses or in magazine. This is because on billboards they will be seen but many people and a wide audience, which the product is aimed towards. Inside a magazine it will be viewed by women who would look up to Cindy Crawford, aspire to be like her and will also be familiar with Chanel and the luxury of the perfume, they will also be variations of ages which the product is worn by.
The advert has the famous Chanel perfume bottle on, which will be familiar to many generations and is clear what the advert is advertising. In the top right hand corner, there is also text saying 'N.O 5' which is the named f the product, it is also in the famous text which promotes Chanel products. Finally, the advert contain minimal text an no slogan, this is because Chanel adverts keep it to a minimum so that it remains sophisticated and simple.
The target audience that the advert appeals to ranges from young to old women, yet buyers of men with variations of age, buying for their parteners, wives and mothers, ascent that appeals to all ages.
I have taken inspiration from other existing Chanel perfume adds, especially the advert starring Brad Pitt and their aftershave. This is because i like the style of the avert an there are little Chanel perfume adds starring women in black and white.The image also suited the monochrome theme as it gave the picture a classy finish and also enabled the perfume bottle to contrast and stand out.
ebi: You need to look carefully at the target audience (15-25 years old) and what might appeal to them. I know you have created these mock-up posters using found images but how do they appeal to this demographic specifically ? How is the Fair Trade ethos clearly established in your design? Where is the mock-up work you did in class last week? Make sure you have posted all of your pre-production work asap.
